Experience Dyslexia: A Simulation Event
Join us at Laughlin Children’s Center for an eye-opening event designed to help you better understand the daily challenges faced by individuals with dyslexia.
This immersive experience invites you to step into the shoes of someone who struggles with reading, writing, and processing language. Through guided activities and discussion, you’ll gain a deeper awareness of what it’s like to live with dyslexia.
The event includes:
A brief overview of dyslexia, including its neurological basis and key warning signs
Insights into who is affected and what interventions are supported by research
Hands-on simulated activities that reflect the challenges of dyslexia
Time for reflection and discussion on how to better support individuals with learning differences
Simulation is presented by the Pennsylvania Branch of the International Dyslexia Association and that professionals from Laughlin Children’s Center will be on hand to answer questions about our dyslexia services.
This event is designed for adults and caregivers.
